In this era, freedom, equality and social harmony have become the core concept of peace, culture and progress, in which is the direction towards the development of the whole community. As an individual, respecting each other has become one of the main requirements for the cornerstone of the political and cultural rationale in this society. Any barbaric, inhuman and inhumane practices will be discarded completely by society!
多年来，我们研究院以研究社会发展规律推动中国社会转型为宗旨，进行了广泛的理论研究和社会实践活动。
Over the years, our Institute has done many studies and researches on the law of social development based on a wide range of theoretical study and social practice, for the purpose of promoting social transformation in China.
1997 年6 月- 1999 年12 月，研究院对社会发展方向进行了广泛的研究，提出了公民主义理论体系，阐述了社会发展的一般规律。
From June 1997 to December 1999, the Institute has advanced a new theory of citizenship system and has expanded this on the general laws of social development through an extensive research on the social development direction.
1999 年 12 月- 2003 年 12 月，研究院以公民主义理论为指导进行了“天村”和“新民”实验。提出了中国社会转型的最优方式是普及公民教育，推动公民行动，走向公民社会。
From December 1999 - December 2003, by carrying out the “Tiancun” and “New Citizens” experiments, the Institute had put the theory of citizens’ society system into practice. In our view, one of the optimal approaches for China’s social transition lies in universal civic education, the promotion of civic action and the move toward the civil society.
我们研究院经过不懈的探索和努力，为中国社会转型做出了重要的贡献，得到了政府，学界，国内外媒体及其它机构的广泛肯定。从 2003 年12 月开始进入发展倡导时期，在这一时期研究院将通过引导社会建立合作协商机制，倡导公民积极推动中国社会的转型。
Our Institute has been exploring and making unremitting efforts in order to make a great contribution to China’s social transformation with the approval from the Government, academia, the media and other institutions at home and abroad. From December 2003 onwards we have begun to enter the development advocacy period. During this period, the Institute has been guiding the community through the establishment of cooperation consultation mechanism, advocating active citizenship to promote social transformation in China.
我们正在用一个全新的观念，健康理性地审视看这个社会。我们引领时代的潮流，融合一切愿为社会文明进步贡献力量的有识之士，一切为民族复兴事业勇于奉献的爱国同仁，迈着坚定的步伐，一起奔向新时代！
We are now applying the whole new concept and examining rationally at this society. We shall lead the trend of the times, merging all those with insights who are willing to contribute to the social and cultural progress, and those brave patriotic fraternity who are ready to sacrifice for the national rejuvenation. And with these firm steps we shall move toward a new era!
